The NFSleeves Idea
The seed
I'm a bit of a data nerd, and I really enjoy Spotify's end-of-year re-cap of what I've listened to over the year.
I really wanted something that would help me get that same information about my music habits, but with my vinyl collection.
I decided, I wanted to start tracking my vinyl playing and wanted to make it easy on myself by having a quick to scan nfc tag on the sleeves that I already put on my vinyls.
In doing so, I realized, there was potential for others who may also want to track their collections, understand their vinyl habits, get a more precise idea of when their needles need changing, and more. So, I'm building out NFSleeves for everyone to use.
It's a long and tedious process, and I'm only one person, so bear with me as I work to create, improve, and build out the NFSleeves platform.
Where we are today
Right now, the platform is currently in an MVP state with a functional scanning app for mobile, and digital tracking.
It's being worked into a more useable platform and needs a bit to be done before general release as a beta product.
Work to be done includes Authentication, User Profiles, and a few backend improvements.

This is me, Kei, and my cat Reginald. We like to go on walks in the back yard, and listen to a ton of music. Check out some of my recommendations here:
